Jennifer Vickery Colaco; has served on the ARCS Board of Directors since 2017, as member-at-large, Vice President and is now the current president. She is Office Manager at Oriental Rug Cleaning Co. in Dallas, Texas and is the fourth generation of her family to be involved in the flooring business. She is a Certified Rug Specialist and Master Rug Cleaner.
Andrija Malbasa - Vice President
Robert Mann Rugs, Inc.
Andrija Malbasa; Andrija was born and raised in Croatia. With the civil war in the 1990s his family fled to Serbia and later in 2000 immigrated to the United States. He worked as a sales floor manager at Target prior to joining Robert Mann Rugs in 2004. While he began as a driver, he helped with a variety of tasks around the facility. Showing an ability to quickly pick up different skill sets he was later asked to stay at the shop where he has learned and refined multiple skills, washing, finishing, and blocking rugs, finely rising to the level of Operations and Quality Control Manager. He has enjoyed working with Robert on a variety of projects over the years for private collectors and museums, expanding his knowledge of oriental rugs and Navajos.
Scott Ring - Treasurer
Woodard Cleaning and Restoration
Scott Ring; Scott started in the cleaning and restoration business in the late 1980s with Woodard Cleaning & Restoration. After working production in the rug plant for approximately 7 years learning the business, he went on to pursue a career in hand-knotted rug sales. He worked in retail sales and importing for 13 years before returning to Woodard to now run their rug operations. Working with a 73-year-old business, he has been able to serve all three generations of ownership. Scott spent the next few years growing the rug business and adding additional decontamination, rug padding and hand-repair services.
In 2017 he became Director of Cleaning Services at Woodard, overseeing rug, residential & commercial location cleaning. With over 25 years of textile cleaning & retail sales experience, he says he has been blessed to have several mentors to help him figure things out along the way. Working at Woodard, their core purpose is to help people get back to their lives. The challenge and the privilege to serve others, both team members and customers is what motivates him daily. Scott is on his second term on the board of directors with the Association of Rug Care Specialist and has completed the Master Rug Cleaner certification.
Jordan King - Secretary
Oriental Rug Cleaning of Indianapolis
Jordan King; “Jordan is the operations manager at Oriental Rug Cleaning of Indianapolis and Sani-Bright Carpet Cleaning. Since joining the business in 2009, Jordan’s passion for service has helped fuel their rapid growth. He is a certified Master Rug Cleaner and holds the CRS designation. Jordan has always had an entrepreneurial spirit; through high school and college, he owned & operated a successful recording studio as well as a lawn care business. He has found the networking, education, and friendships formed through ARCS events & classes to be highly valuable. It continues to give him and his team the edge they need to bring a 5-Star experience to their clients.”
Steven DeMarco II - Director at Large
Triple S Carpet & Drapery Cleaners
Steven DeMarco II; Triple S is a family business that started in 1963 and has entered its third generation. Steven has over thirty years’ experience in the family business and is currently the Director of In Plant Operations. He oversees the operations of the Drapery, Upholstery and Rug cleaning Plants.
Steven holds the CRS certification from ARCS. He was part of the inaugural CRS class and has served on the Board of Directors for ARCS when it was founder. He is also a certified Master Textile Cleaner from IICRC. Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending his time with his family and fishing.
Mike Jensen - Director at Large
Star Rug Cleaners
Mike Jensen; Established in 1921, Star Rug Cleaners is the “go to” rug care expert in Santa Barbara, CA. Mike purchased the company from his father in 2012 when he was just 25. Currently serving his first term on the ARCS board of directors, Mike strives to improve his company’s product and brand through education and involvement in rug the cleaning community.
Jack Stallings - Director at Large
Hagopian Cleaning Services
Jack Stallings; Plant/Rug Care Manager for Hagopian Cleaning Services. Hagopian Cleaning Services along with Hagopian World of Rugs is a 3rd generation family owned business. We recently just celebrated our 81st year in business. Jack started with the company in 1997 as a part-time Rug Care Specialist working in rug cleaning plant and then moved to On-Location Cleaning Assistant. While working for the company part-time in the summers, Jack received his Bachelor of Science in Business Admin, with a Human Resources major, from Central Michigan University in 2001. After college he stayed with the company as an On-Location Cleaning Specialist. In 2014 Jack took the position as Plant Manager of the rug cleaning facility. He manages about 20 to 25 people who process over 35,000 rugs annually through their 25,000 square foot MOR rug cleaning plant. From cleaning, to repair, to color restoration, Hagopian Cleaning Services specializes in high-quality, efficient cleaning service with a concentration on family-like customer service. Since he moved back into the Rug Care side of the company, Jack has found a real appreciation for the art of rug cleaning and identification. He has been an ARCS member since 2014 and really enjoys and appreciates the people that he has met and that have mentored him along the way. Finding time in the high-volume plant for rug education is tough but in 2018 he started the process with the Intermediate In-Plant Rug Cleaning class and is striving to complete the CRS and Master Rug cleaning courses. In his free time Jack plays softball and coaches his daughter’s softball team. He also enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Tim Urback - Director at Large
Atiyeh Bros., Inc.
Tim Urback is the Manager of Atiyeh Brothers Rug and Carpet cleaning. Tim started with Atiyeh in 1992 working nights cleaning commercial carpet while attending college. He was promoted to manage Atiyeh’s in plant Furniture and Textile cleaning department and in the early 2000 Tim became plant manager for Atiyeh. Tim has an extreme passion for the art of Oriental Rugs. Tim is a Certified Rug Specialist ‘05 and has served on the ARCS board since 2019. Tim says, the best part of being an ARCS member is all the great people you meet around the country and the friendships that are bonded though this great organization.
Trent is a 2010 graduate from the University of Akron. He began his career in 2012 as a carpet cleaning technician with Stanley Steemer. After working as a cleaning technician, he worked in the air duct cleaning division and water restoration department before being promoted to run the new area rug plant facility in Columbus, OH. Trent’s passion for area rugs quickly grew and was promoted to do what he loves at a national level within the company. He currently oversees several facilities across the country within the corporate and franchise system. He helps with the setup of plant facilities, training technicians and is constantly improving the area rug cleaning division. Trent looks forward to working with some of the best leaders in the rug cleaning industry and taking the next step with the Association of Rug Care Specialists.
Aaron Glazier has been with Certified Clean Care since 2013 and is currently the Rug Shop Manager. In that timeframe he has completed his degree with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. Got married to his bride in 2015 and recently just had his first child on Valentine’s day of this year. He completed the Master Rug Cleaner course in 2018 and has been a member of ARCS for several years now. He enjoys smoking BBQ in his off time and travels every chance he gets.
Like many in this industry, Katie Pettyjohn Reuther started cleaning early in life. She was pulling hoses in her father’s cleaning business in third grade! Katie and her husband, Andrew Reuther (an Iraqi war veteran and Purple Heart recipient) manage Pettyjohn’s, one of the finest Rug Cleaning operations in the country. Katie is heavily involved in two local chambers of commerce and serves on the Board of MidSouth Professional Cleaners Association and is a member of IICRC S – 400 Upholstery Cleaning Standard revision committee. She and Andrew are proud parents of Bobby and Magnolia.
Meg Walker - Past President
Aladdin Cleaning & Restoration
Meg Walker; is Vice President of Aladdin Cleaning & Restoration in San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduation from Texas Christian University in 2004, Meg began her career at Aladdin in accounting, marketing and HR. In 2016 she graduated from the Master Rug Cleaner Program. Meg has served on the ARCS Board of Directors since 2016, as Secretary, President and currently as Past President.
