Join ARCS at Robert Mann Rugs in Denver, Colorado, October 19-23, 2021, for a whole week of incredible content with the biggest names in the industry! The week kicks off on Tuesday and Wednesday with an ARCS class on Finishing Processes by Robert Mann’s own Quality Control Manager, Andrija Malbasa. Thursday through Friday, October 21– 22, is the official event, Rug-A-Palooza! Saturday we’ll be getting back on the wash floor for BYOB (Bring Your Own Boots).
Thursday - Friday, October 21-22 - Rug-A-Palooza:
Rug-A-Palooza is THE event for rug education, problem solving, great discussions and networking with all the industry experts.
- Wednesday - A full day of lively talks on general rug industry topics. Hear from textile conservationists, rug dealers and other insights on the history of the industry in the US, how rugs are made, what is being offered in the market today and so much more. These conversations will be exciting with plenty of time for Q and A.
- Thursday - All about the hands-on experience. We have demonstration stations set up for you to test your hand at washing, stain removal with Randy Hyde, repair with Robert Mann’s team, dye bleed treatments with Ben Knause, blocking with Andrija Malbasa and more!
- Friday - A full day of short talks and presentations, panel discussions, and town hall meeting style with lots of audience participation on the topic of ‘How to set up a rug wash plant'. This covers dry soil removal systems, dry room function and design, wash floor surfaces and styles, and wash plant work flow.
- We are offering specialized sessions on more advanced topics such as hands-on wool dying, rug structure analysis and appraisal theory throughout the three day event.
